Mrs. Stallbaumer is new to the BLHS staff this year, teaching in the Health Science Pathway. She is a Registered Nurse and most recently worked at Olathe Medical Center as a staff nurse specializing in telemetry, medical-surgical and women's health. She is excited to draw on her experiences to aid in educating the students about the healthcare environment. Having children in the district for twenty years and counting, she is looking forward to being a part of the BLHS teaching staff.
The classes she will be teaching include: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), Human Growth and Development, Professional Learning Experience, Medical Terminology, and Nursing Care Concepts.
Raised in Iowa, she moved to the Kansas City area in 1986. She is married with 5 children: Sydney, Abbey, Haley, Elizabeth and Graham. Three of her children have graduated from BLHS and two are currently attending.
In her free time she enjoys watching her kids sporting events, running, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
